Podcasters Helping Other Podcasters
October 02, 2006
One of the nice things about the community of podcasters at the Podcast & Portable Media Expo (PME) 2006 was that everyone was willing to help out if there was ever a problem or issue. Here are two examples of perhaps hundreds that happened over the weekend ...
One of those companies that I've enjoyed a great relationship with since meeting them last year was the Broadcasters General Store (BGS).
This expo I was able to have an Why Audacity? (pdf) posted and distributed in their booth. You'll notice my cellphone number on the filer. I actually got two calls at PME, and was able to meet up with them to help them with their Audacity issues during the expo.
Another great story about BGS is that when TWIT was having issues setting up for their podcast, Jonathon @ BGS lent them a mixer that I think was actually used to do the recording. Nice!
